British Swim School of Embassy Suites South San Francisco

We love the British Swim School lessons we’ve taken! Their philosophy of water safety first makes so much sense for young kids and their teachers are patient, fun, inventive and attentive. Big shout out to Teachers Jules, Alaura, Shannon, Nicole and Mia (I’m sure I’ve forgotten someone—apologies!); you are the reasons our kid will now willingly put her head under water!!

My kids (age 4 and 2) just started taking lessons here. They were formerly at YMCA, which has been closed for many months now because of COVID. The staff and swim instructors here are wonderful with the kids, and have the same level of training and enthusiasm as the YMCA. It's a really warm pool which the kids love. They have a great feedback system and student portal where you can monitor your kids progress and send feedback. I highly recommend this swim school.

Happy to see Jules on deck today. Classes are better with her there! She encourages the kids. The kids respond well to her. When she isn’t there, the whole vibe is slightly depressing. We need her there all the time!

Greatly appreciate the professionalism & effort of all the swimming instructors. The staff are really friendly. My Son loved the new location I re-assigned him. It’s well maintained, clean & have natural light from outside. We love it!

British Swim School explained to me their policy on making up missed classes, and it was quite strict and left little room to help me while going through a difficult time. Alfredo and his team did what they were supposed to do according to the policy, but the policy also lacked a human touch that would have been respectful to me.
